The former FBI assistant director’s Tweet falls on the heels of a piece out of the Wall Street Journal that documents that Melinda Gates was meeting with divorce lawyers in 2019 after catching wind of her husband Bill’s meetings with the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Additionally, the Journal reports that Melinda Gates had some concerns as early as 2013 about her husband’s relationship with Epstein, who owned and operated a compound on Little St. James Island located off the coast of Florida.
“I didn’t have any business relationship or friendship with him,” the Wall Street Journal quoted Bill Gates in 2019 when asked about his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
