Rep. James Comer and other GOP members called for the investigation of the Biden Family after evidence suggests the “Big Man” himself, President Joe Biden, and his trustee son Hunter were involved in a scheme to sell natural gas to the Chinese amid an American energy crisis.
“This is an investigation of Joe Biden, the President of the United States, and why he [Joe Biden] lied to the American people about his knowledge and family participation in international business schemes,” said the Republican representative from Kentucky at a press conference on Thursday. “We will pursue all avenues.”
According to Comer, evidence suggests that Hunter Biden and his father defrauded investors on several occasions for hundreds of thousands of dollars and used the U.S. president’s influence to get rich. The Biden family was involved in high-profile money laundering schemes and human trafficking deals.
Rep. Comer said that investigators would seek justice for Americans and go after Joe Biden and family members who participated in federal crimes, including but not limited to:
- Conspiracy or defrauding the United States
- Wire fraud
- Conspiracy to commit wire fraud
- Violation of the Foreign Agent Registration Act
- Foreign corruption
- Violation of the Trafficking Victims Protection Act
- Tax evasion
- Money Laundering
- Conspiracy to commit money laundering
Now that the cat is out of the bag, the GOP plans to focus on the Bidens’ human trafficking links and potential constitutional violations because Joe Biden is the current president of the United States.
“I want to be clear, this is an investigation of Joe Biden,” stated Comer.
